Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton=+1

This was cross posted on the DailyKos

We all laughed at this equation or this concept months ago.  Nobody wanted this pattern to continue.

Some of the components of the equation need to be extracted, not all.  The Bush factors must be pulled out and never again let back in.  So far, after all the shit we went through with Ronald Reagan, it is hard to believe that we allowed the same thing to happen again with someone just as evil and even dumber, if that is possible.  It is time we start taking closer looks at those who we elect and when we find something that works, we need to keep it, especially when in crisis. It is also we we begin to crush Democrats that say anything good about Ronald Reagan for they are helping to  perpetrate one of the biggest scams in history.

So, how does the race injecting pusher Barack Obama fit into all this, besides being an enabler to the Republican lies that got us here. He does not belong here with the adults.  He has been proven to be a liar over and over again and his injecting the Democratic electorate with race, when racial slurs never happened, is about as disgusting and conniving as someone can get.  Then, he pours salt on the wound by raising the idea to his half unconscious followers that if he does not get the nomination, they better make sure they don't vote for Hillary.  That attitude is prevalent all over the DailyKos which has diminished this blog that was created based on Democratic values.

Obama brings us nothing and right now he is taking away by lying to us about Rezko (I only did 5 hours of billing for him), about Reagan (he is what the country needed to start up their sense of entrepreneurship), the Republicans had all the ideas (this was to cut the legs out of Bill Clinton who saved our asses the first time the Republican supply-siders deceived us) and that he was never there, in the pews, for Jeremiah Wright's American hating anti-Semitic remarks.

He has a very nice smile but he is a liar of the highest order.  This is not what we need now.  We need the Clintons, who threw us a life raft after Reagan and Bush 41 lied us into a $4 trillion dollar debt.  Now the progeny of what Obama says we needed, George W. Bush will leave us with a debt of $12 trillion debt after the Iraq debts and expenses are finally paid.  The adults have to take over to get us out of the mess the Republicans are leaving us again.  The last thing we need is a liar and a race-baiter.  It is time for everyone to wake up out of their dream-state.  This is not a musical like Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, this is real life and Obama who has proven how low he can go, hasn't shown us if he can hit any heights, as he has done nothing.  The one chance he had, the sub-committee on Afghanistan that he chaired, ever held one meeting.  I guess he was too busy reaching for the stars.

Re: SCAB! (2.00 / 1)

Considering the content of the diary I think this is one scab we should have left un-picked.

OR maybe if (2.00 / 0)

I'm 30, a college professor and trying my best to remain unbiased while admitting that I am an Obama supporter.

Repaying my attack on your piece with an ad-hominem attack on my maturity and intelligence is not going to win anyone to your cause.

Let me more fairly restate my comment:

If you want to win people over, I think you would do better to try to communicate fairly and stick to substantive issues.

I don't believe that anyone who isn't already an EXTREMELY EMOTIONALLY INVOLVED HRC supporter is going to be moved by: "Liar of the highest order."

Living in Illinois, and having had the opportunity to get to know Obama as a constituent, I believe he is among the most honest and fair politicians I know of. I say this because I'm a very active letter writer to my elected officials and while I often find myself writing letters of complaint to my other Democratic Representatives, even including Dick Durbin, Obama almost always votes with spine. He's always been on the right side when it's important. I even had the opportunity to hear him speak out against the Iraq war way back when it was politically perilous to do so. He was one of the few willing to stick his neck out and stand up for what is right.

And most importantly, I appreciate his dedication to community grass-roots politics. To me, the most important work one can do is the kind of work OBama did for ACORN--so he's actually been a member of the activist left! And he's the only presidential candidate to my memory who's ever had that kind of experience.

While I can appreciate your enthusiasm for your candidate, I see nothing substantive in your post to make me question Mr. Obama's motives, his integrity, his honesty or his qualifications to be the next president of the United States.

Respectfully, as someone who's been involved with many campaigns and understands how emotional these things get, I'd suggest that you should take Bill Clinton's advice and "chill out" a little. Even Big Dog says that most of this stuff is just "kitchen sink politics" from both sides.

Obama may very well be our candidate in November, hell he's already won the voting portion of the election. I hope you'll come to agree with me, even if your first choice was HRC, that Obama will be a great president, and one of the most exciting candidates we've had in my lifetime.

Peace.
